Zero tolerance
MrDapper has zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive behaviour towards other members. You can report any content and block any member from inside the app. We review every report and act on it within 24 hours: offending content is removed and offending members are ejected from the club. Using MrDapper means accepting that standard for yourself.
These terms are the agreement between you and MrDapper. Read them — by creating an account or using the app you are agreeing to all of it.
1. The agreement
MrDapper (the “Service”) is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY] of [REGISTERED ADDRESS] (“MrDapper”, “we”, “us”). These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy, govern your use of the MrDapper iOS application and the mrdapper.com website.
By creating an account, applying for membership, or using any part of the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the Service. We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to use the MrDapper app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, solely for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment of the club, and strictly on these terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to use MrDapper. The Service is not directed to children and we do not permit accounts belonging to minors. You must not be barred from using the Service under the laws of your country, and you must not be a person we have previously removed from the club.
3. Membership is by invitation and approval
MrDapper is a private club. Anyone may create an account and apply, but full membership — the member feed, profiles, closet, garage, gatherings, messages and the marketplace — is unlocked only when an application is approved. Until then your account sits in a pending state.
Approval is entirely at our discretion. We are not obliged to approve any application, to explain a decision, or to reconsider one. We may also revoke membership at any time, with or without notice, where we consider it necessary to protect the club or its members. Membership is personal to you: you may not sell, transfer, lend or share your account or your invitations.
4. Your account
Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself and tell us immediately at concierge@mrdapper.com if you believe someone else has access to your account. You are responsible for everything that happens under it. The information you give us — including your application — must be true, and you must keep it up to date.
5. Zero tolerance and the rules of conduct
MrDapper carries content created by members. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive behaviour towards other members. The following rules apply to everything you post, publish, upload, list, send or say — in the feed, in comments, in your closet and garage, in listings, in gatherings, in your profile, and in direct messages.
No harassment or bullying
No targeting, intimidating, stalking, threatening, degrading or piling on to another person, in the feed, in comments, in listings or in direct messages. No unwanted sexual advances. No encouraging others to do any of it.
No hate speech
No slurs, dehumanising language, hateful imagery or content that attacks or demeans a person or group on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, religion, disability, disease, age, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
No nudity or sexual content
MrDapper is a style club, not an adult platform. No nudity, no pornographic or sexually explicit material, no sexual services, and absolutely nothing involving minors. Content sexualising a minor is reported to the authorities and the account is permanently removed.
No violence or self-harm content
No threats, no glorification or incitement of violence, no gore posted for shock, no terrorist or violent extremist material, and no content that promotes suicide, self-harm or eating disorders.
No illegal or regulated goods
Nothing that cannot lawfully be sold or given away: weapons, drugs, stolen goods, counterfeits and knock-offs, human remains, endangered wildlife, hacked accounts, or anything else prohibited by law where you or the buyer are.
No spam
No bulk or repetitive posting, no bots, no engagement farming, no unsolicited commercial messages, no off-platform promotion dressed up as club activity, and no misuse of the invite tools to bombard people.
No scams or fraud
No deceptive listings, no fake or misrepresented goods, no advance-fee or off-platform payment tricks, no phishing, and no financial deception of any kind.
No impersonation
Do not pretend to be another person, member, brand or organisation, do not use someone else’s photographs as your own, and do not misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
Respect other people’s privacy
Do not post someone else’s private information, do not screenshot or republish private messages or a private gathering’s details without permission, and do not add people to invitations who would not expect to hear from you.
These rules are not exhaustive. If something is plainly objectionable, treat it as prohibited even if it is not itemised above.
6. Reporting and blocking, from inside the app
Every member has the tools to deal with objectionable content and abusive members directly, without contacting us first:
- Report — open the “…” menu on any post, comment, direct message, marketplace listing, vehicle, outfit, article, gathering or member profile and choose Report. Pick a reason (harassment, hate, nudity, violence, spam, scam, impersonation, or other) and add a note if you want to. The report goes straight to our moderation queue.
- Block — the same menu on a member’s profile or content offers Block. A blocked member disappears from your feed, discovery, comments, listings and messages, and cannot contact you. You can unblock from your profile settings at any time.
You can also write to concierge@mrdapper.com — but the in-app tools are faster and give us the context we need.
7. What we do about it
We review every report and act on it within 24 hours of receiving it. Where a report is upheld we remove the offending content, and where the behaviour warrants it we eject the offending member from the club — their account is terminated and their content is taken down.
Depending on the severity we may instead or additionally: remove the specific content, restrict a member’s ability to post, message or list, suspend the account pending review, or refer the matter to law enforcement. Content that sexualises a minor, or a credible threat of violence, results in immediate permanent removal and a referral to the authorities.
We may review content proactively as well as on report, and we screen submitted text automatically on creation. We are not obliged to monitor everything, and we do not guarantee that we will catch every violation before another member sees it — which is why the reporting tools matter. Our moderation decisions are final. If you believe we got one wrong, write to concierge@mrdapper.com and we will look again.
8. Your content
Everything you upload or write stays yours. You keep ownership of your photographs, your posts and your text. You grant MrDapper a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for formatting and resizing), publish and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service to its members — for example rendering your post in the feed, your vehicle in the garage spin view, or your listing in the marketplace. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already shared with other members and copies retained in backups or moderation records for the periods described in the Privacy Policy.
You promise that you own or have the rights to everything you publish, that publishing it does not infringe anyone else’s rights, and that it complies with section 5. We may remove any content at any time, at our discretion, without notice.
9. Direct messages
Member-to-member messages are private between the participants and are not end-to-end encrypted. They may be accessed by us where we are responding to a report about them or where the law requires it. The rules of conduct apply to messages exactly as they apply to public content.
10. The marketplace
MrDapper is a listing venue only. We are not a party to any sale, we take no fee or commission, and we process no payment. The marketplace lets one member show another member something they own. Everything after that happens between the two of you, directly, off our platform.
- We do not verify listings, goods, condition, authenticity, provenance, ownership, pricing, or the identity or solvency of any member.
- We provide no escrow, no payment processing, no buyer protection, no seller protection, no shipping, no insurance and no dispute resolution.
- The contract of sale is between the buying member and the selling member. Any dispute is between them.
- You transact entirely at your own risk. Inspect before you buy, use a payment method that gives you recourse, and be sceptical of anything that seems too good to be true.
- You are responsible for complying with the law that applies to your sale, including consumer, tax, import/export and product-safety law.
Listings are content, and section 5 applies to them in full. Scams, counterfeits and prohibited goods get the account ejected.
11. Gatherings and invitations
Gatherings are organised by members, not by MrDapper. The host is responsible for their event — its safety, its legality, its venue and its guests. We are not the organiser and we are not liable for what happens at one.
When you invite people from your phone’s contacts, you confirm that you have a proper reason to share their name, phone number and email address with us for the purpose of delivering that one invitation. Do not use the invite tools to send bulk or unwanted messages.
12. AI-assisted features
Some features use artificial intelligence to suggest garment details, draft or tidy text, match pieces to a catalogue, or generate imagery. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or simply wrong, and it is not advice of any kind — not styling, valuation, mechanical, medical, legal or financial advice.
Suggestions are drafts. You are responsible for reviewing them and for everything you choose to publish under your name, including anything an AI feature helped you write. Do not present AI-generated imagery as a genuine photograph of goods you are selling. See the Privacy Policy for what is sent to which AI provider.
13. Our intellectual property
The MrDapper name, monogram, design, editorial content, software and everything else we create belong to us or our licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers any of it to you. You may not use our brand without written permission.
If you believe content on MrDapper infringes your copyright or trade mark, write to concierge@mrdapper.com with enough detail to identify the work and the content, and we will act on it.
14. Technical misuse
You must not:
- scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-export member data or content;
- reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the app, or circumvent any security control;
- use bots, automation or a modified client against the Service;
- probe, load-test or attack our infrastructure, or interfere with another member’s use;
- create accounts in bulk, or create a new account after we have removed you;
- use the Service to build a competing product or to train a machine-learning model.
15. Apple App Store terms
Where you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, the following applies. This agreement is between you and MrDapper only, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund your purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the app, including product liability, regulatory non-compliance, or consumer protection claims, nor for the investigation, defence, settlement or discharge of any third-party intellectual property infringement claim. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must comply with any applicable third-party terms of service when using the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
16. Termination
You can leave at any time: Profile → Edit Profile → Delete account. That is irreversible and wipes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account, remove your content, and revoke your membership immediately and without notice if you break these terms — in particular section 5 — if we are required to by law, or if we reasonably believe your continued presence puts other members or the Service at risk. On termination your licence to use the app ends. Sections 8, 10, 13, 15 and 17 to 20 survive.
17. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that any content is accurate, that any member is who they claim to be, or that any transaction between members will complete satisfactorily. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
18. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MrDapper and [LEGAL ENTITY] will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service — including any dispute with another member, any marketplace transaction, any gathering, any content posted by a member, or any reliance on AI-generated output.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or fifty United States dollars (USD 50). Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
19. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MrDapper, [LEGAL ENTITY] and their officers, employees and agents from any claim, liability, loss, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your conduct on the Service, your transactions or gatherings with other members, or your breach of these terms or of any law.
20. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The “last updated” date at the top will change, and where a change is material we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
21. Governing law and disputes
These terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [JURISDICTION]. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, or of the right to bring proceedings there.
[JURISDICTION] is a placeholder: it must be replaced with the governing jurisdiction of the operating entity before these terms are relied upon.
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
