Email concierge@mrdapper.com for anything at all — account trouble, a bug, a question about membership, or an appeal against a moderation decision. We answer every message, normally within one business day.

What MrDapper is

MrDapper is a private, invite-only style and lifestyle club for iPhone. Members keep a digital closet of the pieces they own and the outfits they build from them, a garage for their vehicles (including a 360° spin view), and a profile that shows both. They share looks in a member feed, message each other, host and RSVP to gatherings, list pieces and vehicles to other members in the marketplace, and read the MrDapper magazine.

Anyone can create an account and apply. Full membership is unlocked when an application is approved; until then the account sits on a pending screen. There is nothing to buy inside the app.

Report content or a member

MrDapper has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. If you see something that breaks the rules, report it — it takes two taps and it comes straight to us.

  1. Open the “…” menu on the post, comment, message, listing, vehicle, outfit, article, gathering or member profile.
  2. Choose Report.
  3. Pick a reason — harassment, hate, nudity, violence, spam, scam, impersonation or other — and add a note if there is context we would not otherwise have.

Every report is reviewed and acted on within 24 hours. Where a report is upheld the content is removed, and where the behaviour warrants it the member is ejected from the club. For anything urgent or involving someone’s safety, email concierge@mrdapper.com as well and say so in the subject line.

Block a member

Blocking is immediate and does not require us to be involved. Open the “…” menu on the member’s profile or on any of their content and choose Block. A blocked member disappears from your feed, from discovery, from comments, from the marketplace and from your messages, and they cannot contact you. You can see and undo your blocks in your profile settings under Blocked members.

Blocking someone is separate from reporting them. If they broke the rules, do both.

Delete your account

You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app:

  1. Open Profile.
  2. Tap Edit Profile.
  3. Scroll to the bottom, tap Delete account, and confirm.

This is irreversible. It runs a full server-side wipe: your sign-in account, profile, posts, likes and comments, follows, direct message threads, hosted gatherings, marketplace listings, closet, garage, uploaded images and membership application are all removed. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what goes and the few things that remain. If you would rather we ran it for you, email privacy@mrdapper.com from your account address.

Common questions

I applied. What happens now?

Applications are reviewed by hand. You can sign in while you wait — your account sits on a pending screen until a decision is made, and you get an email the moment you are approved. We do not publish a turnaround time and approval is at our discretion.

I cannot sign in.

Use the same method you signed up with. If you used Sign in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, that relay address is your account address and everything works with it. If you signed up with an email and password, use the reset link on the sign-in screen. Still stuck: email us from the address on the account.

Why does MrDapper ask for my location?

Only while the app is open, and only for the features that need it: live transit departures near you, nearby fuel stations, airport lounges and private clubs on Discover, and today’s weather for closet suggestions. You can turn it off in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services and the rest of the app keeps working.

Why does it ask for my contacts?

So you can pick people to invite to a gathering or to the club. Your address book is never uploaded. Only the specific people you tap are sent, and only to deliver that one invitation.

How do notifications work?

If you allow them, we send messages, RSVPs, gathering reminders and social alerts. You can turn them off entirely in iOS Settings → Notifications → MrDapper.

Does MrDapper take a cut of marketplace sales?

No. The marketplace is a listing venue only. We are not a party to any sale, we take no fee, and we process no payment — members transact with each other directly and at their own risk.

Something in the app looks wrong.

Tell us what you were doing, what you expected and what happened, plus your iPhone model and iOS version. A screenshot helps enormously.
